Our commitment to making TRE with Lynea accessible to everyone
TRE with Lynea is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to all visitors, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone should be able to learn about TRE, explore training options, and access the information they need — regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse the web.
We have designed and built this website to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level, the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility.
This website was built with accessibility as a core design requirement, not an afterthought. Our accessibility work includes:
Every text and background combination on this site has been tested against WCAG 2.1 AA contrast thresholds. We conducted a comprehensive color contrast audit covering all 14 color tokens in our design system, identified and corrected 11 contrast issues, and verified every correction using the WCAG relative luminance formula. All text meets a minimum 4.5:1 contrast ratio for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
All interactive elements — links, buttons, form fields, and navigation — are accessible via keyboard. Visible focus indicators appear on every focusable element. A skip-navigation link is available on every page.
We use semantic HTML structure (proper heading hierarchy, landmark regions, labeled form fields) to support screen reader navigation. ARIA attributes are used where native HTML semantics are insufficient.
All animations respect the user's system-level motion preferences. When reduced motion is enabled, animations are suppressed.
Information conveyed by color is always reinforced by additional visual cues such as text labels, icons, or patterns.

Our accessibility audit methodology includes automated testing, manual inspection of color contrast ratios using the WCAG relative luminance formula, keyboard navigation testing, and screen reader evaluation.
